Thank you for helping raise $1.2 million at JDRF's 14th annual Rockin' for Research gala for diabetes research!
Rockin' for Research plays a vital role in helping JDRF accelerate the discovery, development, and delivery of cutting edge advances that cure, better treat, and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Since its inception in 2000, Rockin' for Research has raised over $10.3 million dollars for JDRF!
With your help, we will continue to fund research that improves the lives of people affected by T1D and continue to achieve breakthroughs that will lead us to a cure.
The glamorous Motown Groove themed event was held on Saturday, November 2nd at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.
More than 500 guests showed their passion to support JDRF's cutting edge research and then celebrated raising $1.2 million by grooving to dazzling Motown entertainment including Loverboy lead-guitarist and event Founder, Paul Dean.
The incredible ongoing success of Rockin' for Research is due to the extraordinary support of many dedicated volunteers, committed sponsors, generous donors and passionate guests united by the same goal - finding a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications through the support of research.
We sincerely thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us raise $1.2 million for diabetes research and making a difference in the lives of people living with T1D.
We look forward to seeing you again next year on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver for the 15th Annual Rockin' for Research!
