THANK YOU to all of our past Rockin’ for Research volunteers! Every year you help make our gala one of the best in the city and we couldn’t do it without your hard work and dedication. Keep reading to learn more about opportunities available at this amazing and popular event!

1. Volunteer for Rockin’…all year round! Long term positions allow you to volunteer in the months leading up to the gala, be part the planning, and help make the auction an amazing shopping experience for our guests!

Gala Planning Committee
Promote table & ticket sales, assist with production, plan our décor, help secure entertainment, or lend you marketing skills to ensure our gala is a success! We are looking for savvy, skilled leaders who are well connected in the community and can help grow our event in the years to come.

Silent Auction Procurement Team
Are you interested in helping to secure auction items for one of the biggest & best silent auctions in the city? We need your people skills and initiative to contact businesses & companies in your community throughout the year!

Auction Administrative Team
Join the team on a weekly basis at the office to help input data, send emails, follow up with donors, and arrange delivery or pick up of auction items. Detail oriented & organized volunteers with solid computer & communications skills, and flexible weekday schedules are needed!

2. Event Day Volunteer
Can’t commit to a long term volunteer role but still want to experience our gala? Well an event day position could be just the spot for you! Rockin’ is our most popular event so positions are limited, and priority is given to those with experience at our event. New volunteers are always welcome; however a one-on-one meeting with our volunteer coordinator is required.

Please note: Formal dress code and attendance at a training & orientation session prior to the event is mandatory for most Rockin’ event day volunteers. Many evening positions are long shifts, ending late at night and are not suitable for everyone.
